ഇലക്ട്രിക് കാറുകളുടെ പ്രവർത്തനം എങ്ങനെ ?
ഇലക്ട്രിക് കാറുകളായിരിക്കും ഭാവിയുടെ വാഹനങ്ങൾ. കാഴ്ചയിൽ അവ സാധാരണ വാഹനങ്ങൾ തന്നെയാണെങ്കിലും പരമ്പരാഗത ഇന്ധനം ഉപയോഗിച്ച് പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്ന കാറുകളിൽ നിന്നു അവ തികച്ചും വ്യത്യസ്തമായിരിക്കും. മറ്റു വാഹനങ്ങളെക്കാൾ മലിനീകരണം കുറവാണ് എന്നല്ല പലപ്പോഴും മലിനീകരണം അശേഷം ഉണ്ടാവില്ല. ബാറ്ററി പാക്കുകളില്‍ വൈദ്യുതി സംഭരിച്ചുവച്ചാണ് ഇലക്ട്രിക് വാഹനങ്ങൾ പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നത്.
ഇലക്ട്രിക് വാഹനങ്ങളും ആന്തരിക ജ്വലന യന്ത്രത്തിനു (internal combustion engine) പകരമായി ഇലക്ട്രിക് മോട്ടോറുകള്‍ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നു. ഇത്തരം വാഹനങ്ങള്‍ വലിയ ട്രാക്ഷന് ബാറ്ററി പാക്കുകള്‍ ഉപയോഗിച്ചാണ് അതിന്റെ എൻജിന് ശക്തി പകരുന്നത്. ഈ ബാറ്ററിയെ ചാര്‍ജിങ് സ്റ്റേഷനുകളിലെയോ സ്വന്തമോ ആയ വാള്‍ പ്ലഗുകളില്‍ കുത്തിയിട്ടാണ് ചാര്‍ജ് നിറയ്ക്കുന്നത്. ഇത്തരം വാഹനങ്ങള്‍ വൈദ്യുതിയെ മാത്രം ആശ്രയിക്കുന്നതിനാല്‍, അവയ്ക്ക് സങ്കീർണമായി എക്സ്ഹോസ്റ്റ് സിസ്റ്റത്തിന്റെ ആവശ്യമില്ല. കൂടാതെ ദ്രവ്യാവസ്ഥയിലുള്ള ഇന്ധനങ്ങളൊന്നും ഉപയോഗിക്കാത്തതിനാല്‍ അവ സംഭരിക്കാനുള്ള ടാങ്കുകളും ആവശ്യമില്ല.
ഒരു പരിപൂര്‍ണ ഇലക്ട്രിക് കാറിന്റെ പ്രധാന ഘടകഭാഗങ്ങള്‍ ഇവയെല്ലാമാണ്
ബാറ്ററി:ഒരു ഇലക്ട്രിക് ഡ്രൈവ് വാഹനത്തില്‍ വാഹനത്തിന്റെ വിവിധ ഭാഗങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് ശക്തി പകരാനായി ബാറ്ററി ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നു. ഓള്‍ ഇലക്ട്രിക് ഓക്‌സിലിയറി ബാറ്ററി എന്നാണ് ഇവയെ വിളിക്കുന്നത്.
ചാര്‍ജ് പോര്‍ട്ട് വാഹനത്തെ പുറത്തുനിന്നുള്ള പവര്‍ സ്‌പ്ലൈയുമായി ബന്ധിപ്പിച്ച് ചാര്‍ജ് ചെയ്യാന്‍ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നു. കാറിന്റെ ട്രാക്ഷന് ബാറ്ററി പാക്ക് ചാര്‍ജ് ചെയ്‌തെടുക്കാനാണ് ചാര്‍ജിങ് പോര്‍ട്ട് ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നത്
ഡിസി/ഡിസി കണ്‍വേര്‍ട്ടര്‍: ഡിസി/ഡിസി കണ്‍വേര്‍ട്ടര്‍ (DC/DC converter) ആണ് ട്രാക്ഷന് ബാറ്ററിയിലുള്ള കൂടിയ വോള്‍ട്ടേജ് ഉള്ള വൈദ്യുതിയെ കുറഞ്ഞ വോള്‍ട്ടേജ് ഉള്ള ഡിസി പവറായി പരിണമിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്. കുറഞ്ഞ ഡിസി പവര്‍ ആയിരിക്കും വാഹനത്തിന്റെ പല അക്‌സസറികള്‍ക്കും ആവശ്യം വരിക. ഓക്‌സിലിയറി ബാറ്ററി റീചാര്‍ജ് ചെയ്യുമ്പോഴും ഇതിന്റെ പ്രവര്‍ത്തനം നടക്കുന്നു.

ഇനി ഇലക്ട്രിക് കാറുകളുടെ യുഗം
വരാനിരിക്കുന്നത് ഇലക്ട്രിക് കാറുകളുടെ യുഗമാണ്. പെട്രോളും ഡീസലും വേണ്ടാത്ത വൈദ്യുതിയിലോടുന്ന ഇലക്ട്രിക് കാറുകളുടെ യുഗം. 2030ൽ വിൽക്കുന്ന സ്വകാര്യ കാറുകളിൽ 30 ശതമാനം ഇലക്ട്രിക് കാറാക്കി മാറ്റാനാണ് സർക്കാർ ശ്രമിക്കുന്നത്. അതായത് ഓരോ പത്തു കാറിലും 3 എണ്ണം ഇലക്ട്രിക്. കൂടാതെ കോമേഷ്യൻ വാഹനങ്ങളുടെ 70 ശതമാനവും ബസുകളുടെ 40 ശതമാനവും ഇരുചക്ര മുചക്ര വാഹനങ്ങളിൽ 80 ശതമാനവും ഇലക്ട്രിക് ആക്കാനാണ് ശ്രമിക്കുന്നത്
റോക്കറ്റിന്റെ വരെ മൈലേജ് ചോദിക്കുന്നവർ എന്ന ചീത്തപ്പേരുള്ള നാം ആദ്യ ചിന്തിക്കുക ഇലക്ട്രിക് കാറിന്റെ റേഞ്ചിനെപ്പറ്റിയായിരിക്കും, കൂടെ വഴിയിൽ കിടക്കുമോ എന്ന പേടിയും. എന്നാൽ 100 മുതൽ 400 കിലോമീറ്റർ വരെ മൈലേജുള്ള ഇലക്ട്രിക് കാറുകൾ വിപണിയിലെത്തിക്കഴിഞ്ഞു, അതിലധികം റേഞ്ചുള്ളവ വരാനിരിക്കുന്നു. റേഞ്ചു കഴിഞ്ഞാൽ രണ്ടാമത്തെ ചോദ്യം ഒരു പ്രവശ്യം ചാർജ് ചെയ്യാൻ എത്ര യൂണിറ്റ് വൈദ്യുതി ചിലവാകും എന്നായിരിക്കും.
ഓരോ വാഹനങ്ങളുടെ ബാറ്ററി കപ്പാസിറ്റിക്ക് അനുസരിച്ചാണ് വൈദ്യുതിയുടെ ചിലവുവരുന്നത്. ടാറ്റ ടിഗോറിന്റേത് ഏകദേശം 17 കിലോവാട്ട് അവർ കപ്പാസിറ്റിയുള്ള ബാറ്ററിയാണ്. ഈ അടുത്തിടെ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ ഹ്യുണ്ടേയ് കോനയുടേത് ആകട്ടെ 39.2 കിലോവാട്ട് അവറും. ഹ്യുണ്ടേയ് കോനയെ ഉദാഹരണമായി എടുത്താൽ ഒരു പ്രാവശ്യം ഫുൾ ചാർജു ചെയ്യാൻ 39.2 യൂണിറ്റ് വൈദ്യുതി വേണ്ടി വരും.
കോന ഒരു പ്രവശ്യം പൂർണമായും ചാർജ് ചെയ്താൽ 452 കിലോമീറ്റർ വരെ സഞ്ചരിക്കും എന്നാണ് എആർഎഐ കണക്ക്. ഓട്ടോമൊബൈൽ റിസേർച്ച് അസോസിയേഷൻ ഓഫ് ഇന്ത്യയുടെ പരീക്ഷണ സാഹചര്യങ്ങളായിരിക്കില്ല നിരത്തിൽ. നമ്മുടെ സാഹചര്യത്തിൽ ഒരു പ്രവശ്യം ചാർജ് ചെയ്താൽ 400 കിലോമീറ്റർ ഓടുമെന്നും കണക്കാക്കാം. യൂണിറ്റിന് 7 രൂപ വെച്ച് കൂട്ടിയാലും 400 കിലോമീറ്റർ ഓടാൻ വെറും 275 രൂപ. അതായത് ഒരു കിലോമീറ്റർ ഓടാൻ 0.68 പൈസ (ലീറ്ററിന് 25 കിലോമീറ്റർ മൈലേജുള്ള ഒരു ഡീസൽ കാർ ഇന്നത്തെ ഇന്ധന വിലയ്ക്ക് ഓടാൻ കിലോമീറ്ററിന് 2.80 രൂപ വേണം)
ദിവസവും 100ൽ അധികം കിലോമീറ്റർ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നവരാണെല്ലെങ്കിൽ മൂന്ന് അല്ലെങ്കിൽ നാലു ദിവസത്തിൽ ഒരിക്കൽ റീചാർജ് ചെയ്യണം. മൂന്നു ദിവസത്തിൽ ഒരിക്കൽ റീചാർജ് എന്ന് കൂട്ടിയാലും ഒരു മാസം 2750 രൂപ. ദിവസവും 100 കിലോമീറ്റർ ഓടുന്ന ഡീസൽ കാർ മാസം 3000 കിലോമീറ്റർ ഓടാൻ വേണ്ട ഇന്ധനത്തിന്റെ ചിലവ് മാത്രം 8400 രൂപ വരും. പെട്രോদ্বারা News60 ML | 152 দর্শনসমূহ
