    A report from PEAK says, 81% of Indian workers said their business is data-driven, compared to 69% in the US and just 48% in the UK. It is an extensive benchmarking report looking at the commercial AI readiness of firms in India, UK and the US.

    Decision Intelligence is the application of AI to commercial decision-making. Because it can offer benefits across an organisation and is not limited to one department or operation, it is how most businesses will adopt the technology. The research says, 98% Indian junior staff were aware their businesses used AI, in comparison to 82% and 79% in the US and UK respectively.

    The report reveals that Indian businesses are leading the way when it comes to commercial AI adoption, routinely outperforming counterparts in both the US and UK. While the US was an early leader in AI, with 28% of US businesses adopting the technology over six years ago – compared to 25% in India and 20% in the UK – India is now the more mature market when it comes to leveraging AI.

    The report further throws light on how businesses structure data teams and how critical that choice is to successfully adopt AI. Higher maturity Indian businesses take a different path to peers in the US and UK and tend to favour a decentralised approach, with the majority (33%) of Indian businesses embedding data practitioners in commercial teams to support with analysis – by contrast most US (30%) and UK (25%) businesses have a central data team.

    Indian businesses are also most likely to temporarily substitute a data expert into a team when needed, with 20% of staff in India having experienced this, compared to 13% in US and 14% in UK.

    Experts say that India has already overtaken the UK to become the fifth largest economy in the world, and there’s clear signs that its growth won’t stop there.     Northern Sky Research (NSR) in its Global Space Economy, said in its second Edition report, is projecting that the Global Space Economy will be worth $1.25 trillion (€1.12tn) by 2030. Further NSR is projecting strong revenue potential across all key segments, underpinned by record setting investment and both public and private sector demand for space products and services. With over $1.25 trillion in cumulative revenue projected by 2030, the space industry growth trajectory trends upwards at a 6.25 percent CAG. Satellite & Space Infrastructure is the largest segment today, with burgeoning demand from the Crew & Cargo market as the leading revenue source. Close behind are key infrastructure markets such as Satellite Communications, Earth Observation, Situational Awareness and Science & Technology. Altogether, the Satellite & Space Infrastructure market will generate over $570 billion in revenue by 2030, says NSR. But these traditional revenue generators are changing. There is urgency for banks to increase their digital transformation, and do so at pace. “On the digital transformation side we can see financial institutions moving to cloud, including industry-specific cloud, as well as adopting emerging technologies like artificial intelligence (AI) or data analytics, and overall, much cleverer solutions end to end in the context of security. Quite often that means that financial institutions will need to use trusted solutions from third parties, and do that at pace so they don't have to spend 12-24 months validating those solutions.

    The pandemic pushed more customers towards digital banking, bringing these concerns to the forefront. A survey found a 15% drop in customers visiting physical bank branches after the first lockdown ended. However, despite this, YouGov also found that only 15% of respondents had a digital-only bank account. The pandemic acted as a catalyst on both sides, on the consumer side for adopting digital services, and on the bank side, because branches were shut, they had to find more innovative ways to enhance self-service channels.       हरियाणा में विधानसभा चुनाव से पहले कांग्रेस में एक बार फिर से अंदरुनी खींचतान दिखने लगी है। कांग्रेस के नवनिर्वाचित सांसद जयप्रकाश ने बीजेपी छोड़ कांग्रेस में चौधरी बीरेंद्र सिंह पर तीखा हमला बोलते हुए कहा कि उन्हें कांग्रेस में आना नहीं चाहिए था। इतना ही नहीं जयप्रकाश ने आगे कहा कि वो हर उस व्यक्ति का जमकर विरोध करेंगे जो कांग्रेस की आलोचना करता रहा है।
