उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार की महत्वकांक्षी योजना गौशालय योजना का सिद्धार्थनगर ज़िले में बुरा हाल है सरकार योजनाओं के लिए पैसा ख़र्चा करती है लेकिन जमीनी स्तर पर गोवंशों की हालत में सुधार होता नही दिख रहा है ताज़ा मामला जोगिया ब्लाक के सिरसिया गौशालय का है जहां पर गायों की स्थित दयनीय है जिसमे दो गायों की हालत इतनी गंभीर है कि कभी भी उनकी मौत भी हो सकती है और कौवे गायों के शरीर को नोच रहे है वही गौशालय की शेड भी उखड़ जाने से अधिकतर गायों को खुले आसमान के नीचे गुजारा करना पड़ रहा है इस मामले में मौजूद स्टाफ कुछ भी बोलने से कतरा रहे थे वही इस मामले में जोगिया ब्लाक के खण्ड विकास अधिकारी ओजस्वी राज का मामले में कहना है कि मामला संज्ञान में है और कल और आज दो बार डॉक्टरों ने गायों की जांच की है और इलाज़ भी किया है और दोबारा डॉक्टरों को बोला भी है कि वहाँ सभी गायों की जांच किया जाय। वहीं शेड को लेकर बताया है कि शेड के लिये पैसा आवंटित कर दिया गया है जल्द निर्माण शुरू हो जायेगा।

एक तरह जहाँ सरकारें बच्चों का भविष्य बेहतर बनाने और शिक्षा को बेहतर बनाने के दावे करती है तो वहीँ रामनब जिले के गूल में प्राइमरी स्कूल की हालत सभी दावे खोखले कर रही हैं । रामबन जिले से 40 किलोमीटर की दूरी पर पंचायत संगलदान में बने सरकारी प्राइमरी स्कूल की इमारत पूरी तरह से खस्ता हालत में है और टूटने की कागार में है । जिस कारण शिक्षा विभाग ने इस स्कूल को बंद कर दिया है और दूसरी जगह पर स्थांनतरित कर दिया है। अब स्कूल एक दुकान में लगता है और बच्चे इसी में अपनी शिक्षा हासिल करने को मजबूर है। लोगों का आरोप है कि स्कूल की खस्ता हालत के बारे में अधिकारियों को बार-बार अवगत करवाया लेकिन उनके कानों में जूं तक नहीं रेंगी।
