    बलिया जनपद के रेवती नगर पंचायत के चेयरमैन प्रतिनिधि कनक पांडे ने वार्ड नंबर 4 में मोबाइल टावर के निर्माण को लेकर अपनी नाराजगी जाहिर किया है। चेयरमैन प्रतिनिधि का आरोप है कि मोबाइल कंपनी के साथ एग्रीमेंट करने वाले शख्स ने अपनी जमीन पर टावर बनाने का एग्रीमेंट किया मगर मोबाइल टावर का निर्माण अवैध तरीके से सरकारी जमीन में किया जा रहा है ।सरकारी जमीन रामलीला मैदान के रास्ते में है ।धार्मिक उत्सवों में स्थानीय लोग इसी रास्ते से आते जाते है। कनक पांडेय का कहना है की प्रशासन से कई बार शिकायत किया गया जबकि कुछ प्रशासनिक अधिकारी अवैध निर्माण को रोकने के बजाय इसे मोबाइल टावर को बनाने में सहयोग कर रहे है। चेयरमैन प्रतिनिधि ने आरोप लगाते हुए कहा की मोबाइल टावर लगाने वालों ने नगर पंचायत से कोई एनओसी भी नही लिया है। ऐसे में अवैध टावर के निर्माण को ने रोका गया तो धरना प्रदर्शन भी किया जाएगा।

    खबर यूपी के अमेठी के हैं जहां बीते 26 अप्रैल को त्रिस्तरीय पंचायत चुनाव के दौरान जिले के 3 ग्राम पंचायतों में ग्रामीणों ने मतदान कर्मियों से हाथापाई करते हुए मत पेटी का लूट लिया था जिसके बाद पुलिस ने कार्यवाही करते हुए मतपेटिका को बरामद कर लूट करने वाले अभियुक्तों को गिरफ्तार कर जेल भेजा था।
    चुनाव आयोग के निर्देश पर आज पुनः जामो थाना क्षेत्र के पूरे चितई, गौरीगंज थाना क्षेत्र के बस्तीदेयी और मोहनगंज थाना क्षेत्र के जनापुर मैं भारी सुरक्षा व्यवस्था के तहत पुनर्मतदान हो रहा है। पुलिस गांव में जाकर मतदाताओं को निडर होकर मतदान करने की अपील कर रही है। अपील का असर यह रहा कि भारी संख्या में मतदाता बूथ पर पहुंचे और अपने मताधिकार का प्रयोग कर रहे हैं।
    पुलिस व प्रशासन के अधिकारी मतगणना स्थल पर शांतिपूर्ण मतदान के लिए डटे हुए हैं। मतदाता भी मतदान में अपनी रुचि दिखाते हुए बड़ी संख्या में घरों से निकलकर मतदान कर रहे हैं। दोपहर के 1:00 बजे तक तीनों भूतों का मिलाकर अवश्य मतदान 51% का रहा है।
