साल में 365 दिन होते हैं, लेकिन ये दिन कभी एक से नहीं रहते। कभी दिन बड़े होते हैं तो कभी रात। ये सिलसिला पूरे साल चलता है। इसी बीच एक ऐसा दिन भी आता है जब दिन सबसे लंबा और रात सबसे छोटी दर्ज की जाती है। ये दिन है 21 जून को। यानी इस साल का ये खास दिन आने वाला है। इस दिन एक खास चीज होती है। 21 जून को मनुष्य की परछाई भी साथ छोड़ देती है। कई लोगों के मन में ये भी सवाल होगा कि आखिर ऐसा क्यों होता है। आपके इन्ही सवालों का जवाब देंगे हम इस खबर में - खगोल शास्त्रियों के मुताबिक, सूर्य उत्तरी गोलार्ध से चलकर भारत के बीच से पार होने वाली कर्क रेखा में आ जाता है। यही कारण है कि इस दिन सूर्य की किरणें पृथ्वी पर ज्यादा समय के लिए पड़ती हैं। इस दिन सूर्य की रोशनी धरती पर तकरीबन 15 से 16 घंटे तक पड़ती है। यही वजह है कि 21 जून को साल का सबसे लंबा दिन होता है। इस घटना को समर सोल्स्टिस कहा जाता है। 20 से 23 जून के बीच समर सोल्स्टिस यानि ग्रीष्म संक्रांति मनाई जाती है। परछाई गायब होने के बारे में बात करें तो जब सूर्य ठीक कर्क रेखा के ऊपर होता है तब परछाई कुछ पल के लिए गायब हो जाती है। संक्रांति यानि सोल्स्टिस एक खगोलीय घटना है जो कि साल में दो बार होती है। एक बार गर्मी के मौसम में जब सूर्य को नॉर्थ या साउथ पोल से देखा जाता है तब वह साल का सबसे लंबा दिन दर्ज किया जाता है। इस दिन सूर्य की किरणें ज्यादा देर तक धरती पर मौजूद रहती हैं। वहीं, दूसरी खगोलीय घटना 22 दिसंबर को होती है। इस दिन साल का सबसे छोटा दिन होता है और रात सबसे लंबी होती है। इस दिन सूर्य की किरण पृथ्वी पर कम समय के लिए रहती हैं। ये ही साल के वो दो दिन होते हैं जब दिन और रात की अवधि में काफी अंतर देखा जाता है।
