Why US Government and 17 States Sued Amazon ?
The Federal Trade Commission along with 17 states have sued Amazon over Alleged Anticompetitive Practices That Led to Higher Prices for Consumers. The FTC and state attorneys general claim that Amazon has used its dominant position to favour its own products and services, which has harmed third-party sellers on its platform.
Amazon has been accused of anticompetitive practices in the United States, Europe, and India. The FTC's lawsuit is the most significant antitrust challenge that Amazon has faced to date. It is the largest attack from the government against Amazon, a company that started off selling books on the internet but has since become known as “the everything store,” expanding into selling a vast range of consumer products, creating a globe-spanning logistics network and becoming a powerhouse in other technologies such as cloud computing.

Democratizing E-commerce: The Power of ONDC
The Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) is a government-backed initiative in India that aims to create a unified open platform for all kinds of e-commerce transactions. It is designed to be a more open and transparent alternative to the current e-commerce landscape, which is dominated by a few large players.
#ONDC employs cutting-edge digital infrastructure, seeking to democratise digital commerce in India and make it more accessible and inclusive. More than 29,000 sellers are live on the network, and alpha tests are currently running in 236 cities.
ONDC has the potential to address some of the key concerns that users have with the current e-commerce landscape. For example, it could help to reduce prices by increasing competition. It could also make easier for small businesses to participate in e-commerce, which could lead to a wider range of products and services being available to consumers.

Disruptive innovations & Technology | The Role of Disruptive Innovative Technologies
A report says, 83% professionals in India intend to upskill in 2023, against the global average of 74%. 71% Indian professionals are confident of retaining their jobs versus 59% professionals globally. Career growth within the same organisation and personal interest cited as top reasons to upskill.
As technology advances, it is becoming increasingly automated, which means that machines are taking over many tasks that were previously performed by humans. Skills and competencies will drive the future rather than degrees, and old jobs have begun to vanish due to disruptive innovation and technology.
There are many factory jobs that have been replaced by robots, and many administrative tasks can now be done by software programs. This technological disruption can be particularly challenging for workers who may have spent their entire careers in a particular field or industry that is now becoming obsolete. It can also be difficult for workers who lack the skills or education necessary to transition into new roles.

After 5G what next??
5G is the next generation of wireless connectivity. It is faster than 4G and will support more devices, which means it will be able to connect everything from your phone to your car’s engine to medical devices in hospitals. The new technology will allow for more real-time responses, so you can control a virtual reality headset in a video game without having to wait for it to load. Moreover, it’s also not just about speed, it’s about data.
#5Gnetworks are designed to handle more data than 4G, which means that even if you’re streaming high-resolution videos or playing at 1080p resolution on your gaming console with an Xbox, there’s still plenty of room for growth.
#5Gconnectivity is now active in 47 of the world’s 70 largest economies by GDP. A recent report says, there are 2,497 cities globally with commercial 5G networks, across 92 countries. A further 23 countries have pre-commercial 5G trials underway and 32 countries have announced their 5G intentions. This leaves just 48 countries, many of which are smaller island nations that have not publicly announced plans for 5G.The data also revealed several other major trends relating to 5G deployments.

Streamline Your Workflow with Auto GPT - The Ultimate Time-Saving Tool..!
AI literacy is indeed a critical factor in ensuring that the development and deployment of #artificialintelligence technology is done in an ethical and responsible manner. As AI technology becomes increasingly complex and ubiquitous, it is essential that individuals, organizations, and governments have a basic understanding of how AI works, its potential benefits and risks, and the ethical considerations involved.
#AutoGPT is a variant of the GPT (Generative Pre-trained Transformer) language model architecture developed by #OpenAI. It is an extension of the GPT-2 model that uses a technique called evolutionary search to automatically optimize the model's hyperparameters, such as the number of layers, hidden units, and attention heads. The goal of AutoGPT is to automatically generate a highly performant language model that can be fine-tuned for a variety of natural language processing tasks.
The AutoGPT model is trained using a massive amount of text data from the internet, similar to other GPT models. However, the use of evolutionary search allows for a much larger space of possible model architectures to be explored, potentially leading to better performance and more efficient use of computational resources.

Indian cos are wary of deploying ChatGPT-based bots
Recently, Jio Platforms-owned conversational artificial intelligence startup, Haptik, announced that it will integrate the underlying language model behind ChatGPT, the natural language text-generating AI tool made by Microsoft-backed OpenAI, into its services.
It, however, is not the only one. Ever since the launch of the tool for public usage and deployment last November, multiple platforms that build chatbots have begun integrating its underlying algorithm into their own products, including unicorn Gupshup.
As CIOs and tech leaders gauge the risks and rewards of models like ChatGPT, they first need to address critical friction points. At the same time, there are organisations that remain cautious in adopting the technology due to several reasons. Experts feel that AI is still in early stages of development, and the fact that it can still generate incoherent and insensitive answers is a drawback, as is the fact that the platform itself needs to be localized for Indian languages and use cases.
Experts say, technology is the easy aspect, but the governance models are very critical for emerging technologies, like generative AI, ChatGPT and others, to work effectively within an organization and come to the right outcomes.

Advanced Digital Skills
A report shows that workers in India who use advanced #digitalskills – including cloud architecture or software development – contribute an estimated $507.9 billion (₹10.9 trillion) to India’s annual GDP. This is attributed to the 92% higher salaries that these workers earn compared to those with a similar education who do not use digital skills at work.
The study classifies basic digital skills as the ability to use email, word processors, other office productivity software, and social media. Intermediate digital skills include drag-and-drop website design, troubleshooting applications, and data analysis. Advanced digital skills include cloud architecture or maintenance, software or application development, artificial intelligence, and machine learning.
The study found that advanced digital workers in India are benefitting from more than just a boost in their income. 91% of workers who use advanced digital skills express higher job satisfaction, compared to 74% of workers with intermediate skills and 70% of workers with basic digital skills.
As more organizations move their IT to the cloud over the next decade and new technologies emerge, digitization is going to fuel a vast number of new jobs. The opportunity for India to be competitive in the digital economy depends on having a robust and highly skilled workforce to support current and future innovations.
Secondly, with the digital transformation of businesses and government agencies accelerating around the world, demand for advanced digital workers will remain strong in the coming years.
The most important is, there is a shortage of tech talent is a global phenomenon. While it is good that India has the lowest tech talent demand-supply gap among the top tech locations, it is imperative for individuals and organizations to continue to invest in digital skills training, as technology will be the key differentiator when it comes to leading the world inద్వారా VARINDIA | 87 ఎంతమంది చూసారు
ONDC to regulate ecom biz
#ONDC, is a private non-profit Section 8 company established by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) of Government of India to develop open e-commerce.
It was incorporated on 31 December 2021 with initial investment from Quality Council of India and Protean eGov Technologies Limited, formerly NSDL e-Governance Infrastructure Limited. ONDC is a set of specifications designed to foster open interchange and connections between shoppers, technology platforms, and retailers.
ONDC will unbundle delivery services so that customers can choose their own logistics provider. As many as 20 organisations of national repute have confirmed investments of Rs 255 crore into ONDC. Lenders such as the State Bank of India, UCO Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank and Bank of Baroda have already committed investments.
The initiative is aimed at suppressing the dominance of Amazon and #Flipkart, which control more than half of the country’s e-commerce trading, limit access to the market, and give preferential treatment to certain sellers and squeeze supplier margins. ONDC is a set of standards for voluntary adoption by sellers or logistics providers or payment gateways.
For example, if both Amazon and Flipkart integrate their platforms with ONDC, a user searching for a Bluetooth headset on Amazon would also see results from Flipkart on the Amazon app. ONDC aims to go beyond retail ecommerce, however, and similarly connect companies in areas such as mobility, food delivery, hotel booking and travel, among others.
On ONDC, there will be several other backend partners such as logistics service providers, enterprise resource planners, e-commerce store hosting service providers, etc.
#Paytm has joined the ONDC platform as a buyer, and Reliance-backed Dunzo is offering logistics services for hyperlocal deliveries. According to the ONDC website, companies like Kotak, PhonePe, Zoho and Snapdeal are in the “advanced stageద్వారా VARINDIA | 183 ఎంతమంది చూసారు
ONDC to unlock new opportunities
India is moving ahead with Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) to provide an e-marketplace alternative to proprietary e-commerce.
The Indian E-Commerce Industry is valued at around 40 billion. The industry is still in its nascent stage. However, Indian digital consumerism is growing at a faster speed and is expected to reach $200 billion by 2027.
It is an initiative aimed at promoting open networks for all aspects of exchange of goods and services over digital or electronic networks. #ONDC is to be based on open-sourced methodology, using open specifications and open network protocols independent of any specific platform. It is being developed as a counter to the current duopoly in the Indian e-commerce market which is largely dictated by Amazon and Walmart-owned Flipkart.
For the uninitiated, ONDC is a platform-agnostic e-commerce system, wherein all kinds of vendors, sellers, and merchants (big and small) can display their offerings. With ONDC, India envisions a truly decentralized, coherent, and integrated system for e-commerce, which can be used by everyone.
When a buyer searches for an item on the Paytm app, from where ONDC has gone live, the app will connect to the ONDC platform, which will connect it to seller side interfaces that will list all the companies from where you can buy the particular item. On ONDC, there will be several other backend partners such as logistics service providers, enterprise resource planners, e-commerce store hosting service providers, etc.
As per the government estimates, ONDC will be deployed in 100 Indian cities by October 2022. It will directly positively impact 30 million sellers and 10 million vendors. It will also help the buyers by giving them a more democratized digital platform and finding better bargains and options.
ONDC’s reach will be far and wide. It would not just be limited to general retail, grocery, etc. It can also entail visible shifts in lifestyle retaద్వారా VARINDIA | 106 ఎంతమంది చూసారు
ONDC - the next UPI
The Centre launched Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) in Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Shillong and Coimbatore in a pilot phase in the month of April.
ONDC is a freely accessible government-backed platform that aims to democratise e-commerce by moving it from a platform-centric model to an open network for buying and selling of goods and services. ONDC is planned to be active in 75 locations by August, months after running pilots in seven cities.
The #digitaleconomy has been propelled by a pandemic, which has contributed to the Indian e-commerce sector's current hypergrowth. In order to avoid being infected during the pandemic, people were advised to conduct online transactions. Digital use increased along with the rise of online-only purchasing.
It is an initiative of the government to promote an open platform for all aspects of the exchange of goods and services through electronic networks. ONDC to become the next Unified Payments Interface (UPI), one of India's most successful digital products. Through this platform, consumers can potentially discover any seller, product or service by using any ONDC-compatible application or platform, thus increasing freedom of choice for consumers.
The open network concept extends beyond the retail sector, to any digital commerce domains including wholesale, mobility, food delivery, logistics, travel, urban services, etc. It is an opportunity for the startup entrepreneurs to take the UPI, a system that powers multiple bank accounts into a single mobile application, to the world in a "very big way".
With the usage of ONDC platform, consumers' freedom of choice will increase as a result of the platform's potential for enabling them to find any seller or service by utilising any ONDC-compatible platform or application. ONDC can support business owners engaged in e-commerce, B2B transactions, or direct consumer contact.

Democratisation of e-commerce is the need of the hour
The proposed Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) is incorporated as a private non-profit (Section-8) company to establish the public digital infrastructure needed to expand access to India’s e-commerce ecosystem – and is expected to bring a US$200 billion opportunity by 2027. The Indian government hopes it will democratize the country’s online commerce for all buyers and sellers, irrespective of their size, so that millions of small retailers and mom-and-pop (kirana) stores get an equal opportunity. India is keen to level the playing field for e-commerce operators and widen the digital market access for millions of small businesses and traders in the country. The duopoly of Amazon and Walmart-Flipkart will end. This could be ecommerce’s UPI moment. The Unified Payments Interface (UPI) has become a symbol of India’s ability to roll out world-class solutions in digital technology. In 2021-22, 46 billion transactions valued at Rs 84 lakh crore were made on UPI. A pilot phase of the ONDC protocol was recently launched in five cities, in the country, now it is closely involved in the development of ONDC, along with a team of technocrats and government officers, Nilekani has drawn praise for the initiative from diverse quarters, including Anand Mahindra, Chairman of Mahindra and Mahindra. After UPI (Unified Payment Interface), it is said to be another game changing idea to democratise commerce - ONDC to select consumers, sellers and logistics providers. The project is massive and it is expected to bring a world of choice, convenience and transparency.
India's long-term consumption and retail growth drivers are expected to provide a strong foundation for future growth. There was a need for building cost-efficient and technology-enabled operations and partnerships would be key to success in the days to come. It is time to regulate India’s E-Commerce framework with ONDC
India’s Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) aims to bring a sustainable approach for the sale and purchase of goods and services online and the Rules apply to e-commerce entities including Amazon, Flipkart and Reliance Retail. Major e-commerce players in the Indian market are likely to join the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC). The Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC), an open e-commerce network, is an initiative of the government to promote an open platform for all aspects of the exchange of goods and services through electronic networks. The ONDC has been initially launched in five cities in India- Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Shillong and Coimbatore - on 29 April on a pilot basis to on-board Kirana stores and small and medium businesses. According to the report, ONDC, which still is at a nascent stage, is being pitched as a solution to break the dominance of large e-commerce firms like Walmart-owned Flipkart, Amazon and others in India. In this backdrop, any move by these major e-commerce players to join the network will assume huge significance. E-kart, the logistics arm of Flipkart, has already integrated with ONDC for logistics services while the Flipkart-owned PhonePe is reportedly in the process of joining the network. A report says, Paytm has already joined the network.
ONDC is a decentralised platform that will allow buyers and sellers to connect and transact with each other online irrespective of which ecommerce portal(s) they are listed on. “The bigger ecommerce players have indicated to ONDC that they will support it. Besides tapping into new users, this will also enable platforms with sizable business-to-business verticals to tap into the seller side of ONDC network to supply goods. ONDC is expected to provide better prices to consumers
The Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC), an open-source e-commerce platform that all online retailers can use, is expected to be launched soon. Someone having a #GooglePay account can send money to another person who uses PhonePe, because both are using the common Unified Payments Interface platform. The government is planning a similar experiment in the e-commerce space, which is currently dominated by Amazon and Flipkart. Open Network for Digital Ecommerce, or #ONDC, promises to provide a playing field to small merchants too. The government plans to democratise e-commerce with Open Network for Digital Commerce and end monopolistic practices in India. ONDC will move Indian ecommerce away from the current platform-centric model. It will do so by making several operational aspects like onboarding of sellers, vendor discovery, price discovery and product cataloguing open source. That will allow more and more traditional retailers to benefit from selling their wares online and compete with large e-commerce firms. All seller and buyer platforms will work through one open protocol and can connect through ONDC. It would provide an open network, and if one has to buy a product, ONDC will show all the options of various platforms for the product, and the consumer can choose what he or she wants.
With the newer technology ONDC will eventually cover everything from clothes to food delivery to mobility. From what we know so far, the ONDC will mean the creation of a separate digital platform with easier processes for onboarding sellers. So, if a buyer is looking for, say, a white shirt, they will find the products hosted on #Amazon and #Flipkart. And they will also find the white shirt being sold by local shops in their neighbourhood. ONDC is expected to give a leg-up to offline retailers, helping them compete with online sellers, thus boosting hyperlocal deliveries. A tough time for DC Colocation
Colocation and interconnection to cloud, networking, and internet connections have transformed datacenters into the 'nerve center' of the IT infrastructure ecosystem," as per IDC. In 2020 the explosive growth of data will be felt like never before. We believe this is a sign of things to come, as next-generation technologies transform how we store, manage and move data. At the same time we have seen how enterprises tackle data gravity by bringing their applications closer to data sources rather than transporting resources to a central location. Now we are witnessing the power of data localization, increasing data traffic, analytics and management, enterprises need to more effectively control their data and scale digital business. By 2022, 70 percent of data will be created outside the data center or cloud, up from 40 percent today. Going forward, How do we need to build a network to move that around?
Data centers are designed from the ground-up to offer continuous, unmatched uptime and scalability always presents a problem for IT infrastructures. Artificial intelligence plays a starring role in this data tsunami. AI is a hardware-intensive computing technology that will analyze data both near and far. That includes everything from algorithm training at cloud campuses to inference engines running on smartphones. The growing demand for superior uptime, colocation providers have to commit for maintaining the highest levels of security for their clients, which remains as the biggest challenge. Today’s colocation data centers offer comprehensive services that can help organizations keep their costs under control while maintaining maximum flexibility. Today, the extensive options provided by data center as a service (DCaaS) model, will surely make data centers an increasingly attractive option for companies of all sizes. Biolage Deep Treatment Pack Review| Hair Care for dry, frizzy, damaged, colored hair, split ends.
Everything about hair care using at home affordable hair treatments for dry, damaged, frizzy hair and color treated hair with hair pack at home is discussed in this video using the Biolage Deep Treatment hair packs/ hair masks. Hair care with DIY deep treatment hair packs by Biolage helped me get soft, smooth, silky hair. They also have hair masks to tame fly-aways, get rid of split-ends and to treat colored hair which are infused with hair foods and hair caring ingredients which I've explained and shared in detail in this video. I’ve shared with you a demo and my review of the Biolage Deep Treatment Pack for hair as well.
These hair mask treatments help to get deep moisture treatment for natural and colored hair and frizzy or damaged hair as well. You can now take care of damaged hair at home with the following Biolage deep treatment hair masks in India at https://bit.ly/3vrgR28.
I used the Biolage Ultra Hydrasource Deep Treatment Pack which has Aloe and Spirulina which is a hair mask for dry hair to get moisturised, soft, smooth, manageable and hydrated hair from deep within.
I’ve also shared with you, a hair treatment for color treated hair at home by using the Biolage ColorLast Deep Hair Treatment Pack for colored hair which has amazing hair care ingredients like Apricot Seeds and Orchid to take care of color treated hair.
And, a hair mask for Frizzy hair which is the Biolage SmoothProof Deep Treatment Pack which has Camelia and Castor Oil in it, helps to tame fly-aways and frizzy hair. You can now get yourself a hair spa for frizzy and damaged hair at home for just Rs.350 and get a sleep hair look at home.
I hope that you found this hair care video useful. Let me know how you liked the difference in my hair after using these DIY hair masks.
Thank you Biolage for giving me an amazing opportunity to collaborate with you and take care of my hair at home!
