As per format of the Panel Discussions, the discussions were held around following major issues:
I. How the Civil Society Organizations (CSO’s) have contributed to water management in local, State and National contexts in the country.

II. What are the opportunities and challenges for the CSO’s in addressing water issues in India.

III. How are the Government helping CSO’s in doing their work in water sector.

IV. Are our water management practices in decision making, planning and executing are providing adequate space to the CSO’s for playing their coveted role in addressing water issues for the people

V. How the role and functioning of CSO’s is changing with time in the Indian Context.

VI. How are the CSO’s coping with the emerging challenges in water Management in the country.

After detailed discussions on the above issues, following recommendations emerged:
