India's Batting Coach Vikram Rathour Backs Rahane & Pujara To Find Form & More Cricket News

India’s senior willow wielders Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane are going through lean patches with the willow in Test match cricket. Both these batters failed to make substantial contributions with the bat in the 1st Test against New Zealand.

While Pujara scored 26 and 22 in the 2 innings that he played in the 1st Test, Rahane could only manage scores of 35 and 4 in both innings. And, the batting coach of the Indian cricket team, Vikram Rathour has backed the veterans to come good. Rathour opined that both Pujara and Rahane have contributed vital runs in the past, and will continue to do so in the future as well.

One of the biggest talking points in England cricket has been the return of Ben Stokes for The Ashes series against Australia. Stokes will be making a return to competitive cricket after taking a break to take care of his mental health.

However, the all-rounder suffered an injury to his arm while training on 28th November 2021, and was attended to, by the doctor and physio. And, Ashley Giles, the Director of Cricket revealed that Stokes has been doing well and is having a good time.

Australian spin-bowling icon Shane Warne reportedly suffered an accident after he fell from his bike on 28th November 2021. Warne was driving the bike with his son Jackson riding pillion and slipped from the bike.

Even though Warne avoided any kind of serious injury, the 52-year-old is still experiencing some pain. Warne also went to the hospital for a check-up to make sure that he has not injured any part of his body.
