Una (Himachal Pradesh) : Una district administration of Himachal Pradesh has reduced the number of people attending the wedding ceremony from 50 to 20 due to increasing cases of corona. Issuing orders in this regard, DC Una Raghav Sharma said that after 1st May 2021, only 20 people from both sides will be able to join the bride and groom together. This will be the total number of participants in the wedding, so the number of guests will not be increased by changing the venue and time. Persons other than close relatives will not attend the wedding. Raghav Sharma said that after May 1, there will be a complete ban on public wedding programs in district Una and mass meals will also not be held. DJs will not be allowed at the wedding. He said that new orders will be applicable to all marriages that take place after May 1, even if permission has been taken for them in the past. All permissions will be deemed to be limited to 20 persons and the permission for mass dining will be deemed to be canceled.
