बहुचर्चित फर्जी गन लाइसेंस मामले में सीबीआई ने दो अफसरों आईएएस कुमार राजीव रंजन और सेवानिवृत्त केएएस इतरत हुसैन रफीकी को रविवार को गिरफ्तार कर लिया। दोनों के खिलाफ फर्जी दस्तावेजों के आधार पर कुपवाड़ा जिले में डीसी रहने के दौरान बड़ी संख्या में गैर प्रांतीय लोगों को शस्त्र लाइसेंस जारी करने के मामले में कार्रवाई की गई है। राजीव रंजन इस समय जम्मू विकास प्राधिकरण के उपाध्यक्ष हैं।

The CBI arrested two officers, IAS Kumar Rajeev Ranjan and retired KAS Itrat Hussain Rafiqi, on Sunday in the alleged fake gun license case. Action has been taken against the two for issuing arms licenses to a large number of non-provincial people during their stay in DC in Kupwara district based on fake documents. Rajiv Ranjan is currently the vice chairman of Jammu Development Authority.
