शुक्रवार को राजधानी के किंग जॉर्ज चिकित्सा विश्विद्यालय (KGMU) में भारत के प्रथम राष्ट्रपति डॉ. राजेंद्र प्रसाद (Dr. Rajendra Prasad, the first President of India) की 137वीं जयंती मनाई गई। डॉ. राजेंद्र प्रसाद मेमोरियल सोसाइटी द्वारा आयोजित कार्यक्रम में मुख्य अतिथि के तौर पर उप मुख्यमंत्री दिनेश शर्मा मौजूद थे। वहीं, विशिष्ट अतिथि के रूप में न्याय एवं विधायी मंत्री ब्रजेश पाठक (Justice and Legislative Minister Brajesh Pathak), महापौर संयुक्ता भाटिया (Mayor Sanyukta Bhatia) और केजीएमयू के कुलपति लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल (रि.) बिपिन पुरी शामिल हुए। इस कार्यक्रम को 'डॉ. राजेन्द्र प्रसाद स्मृति समारोह एवं वृहत स्वैच्छिक रक्तदान शिविर' का नाम दिया गया था।
केजीएमयू के ब्राउन हॉल में आयोजित इस कार्यक्रम में उप मुख्यमंत्री दिनेश शर्मा ने फीता काटकर स्वैच्छिक रक्तदान शिविर (Voluntary Blood Donation Camp) का शुभारंभ किया। जिसके बाद, कई लोगों ने स्वेच्छा से रक्तदान किया। इस मौके पर डॉ. राजेंद्र प्रसाद मेमोरियल सोसाइटी की अध्यक्ष व ट्रांसफ्यूजन मेडिसिन डिपार्टमेंट की हेड प्रोफेसर डॉ. तुलिका चंद्रा मौजूद थी।

मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने गोरखपुर में अपने गुरु ब्रह्मलीन महंत अवैद्यनाथ के नाम पर जंगल कौड़िया में बने राजकीय महाविद्यालय का आज लोकार्पण किया एवं परिसर में स्थापित ब्रह्मलीन महंत अवैद्यनाथ की आदमकद कांस्य प्रतिमा का अनावरण भी किया
मुख्यमंत्री के साथ प्रदेश के उप मख्यमंत्री दिनेश शर्मा और उच्च शिक्षा राज्य मंत्री नीलिमा कटियार भी रही मौजूद। महाविद्यालय की आधारशिला मुख्यमंत्री द्वारा 21 मई 2018 को रखी गई थी करीब 30 करोड 35 लाख रुपए की लागत से महाविद्यालय का निर्माण किया गया है ब्रह्मलीन महंत अवैद्यनाथ क्योंकि पांच बार तत्कालीन विधानसभा क्षेत्र मानीराम के विधायक रहे हैं और जंगल कौड़िया विधानसभा क्षेत्र का प्रमुख केंद्र रहा है इसलिए इस क्षेत्र के लोगों की उनमें अपार श्रद्धा है ।मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ की मंशा के अनुरूप इसी सत्र से इस महाविद्यालय में स्नातक प्रथम वर्ष की कक्षाएं शुरू होगी यह महाविद्यालय गोरखपुर विश्वविद्यालय से संबंध है और इससे कला विज्ञान एवं वाणिज्य संकाय की कक्षाओं के संचालन की मंजूरी मिल चुकी है तीनों संकाय में 400 से अधिक विद्यार्थियों का प्रवेश भी सुनिश्चित हो चुका है प्रवेश प्रक्रिया अभी भी जारी है शिक्षकों और कर्मचारियों की तैनाती भी हो चुकी है 14 कमरों का यह महाविद्यालय लाइब्रेरी प्रयोगशाला और प्रेक्षागृह से युक्त है छात्राओं और छात्रों के लिए अलग-अलग हॉस्टल बनाए गए इस अवसर पर मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने कहा कि आज गोरखपुर चिकित्सा और स्वास्थ्य का केंद्र बन रहा है आदरणीय प्रधानमंत्री जी के अनुकंपा से 2016 में गोरखपुर को एम्स मिला जिसका कार्य पूरा हो चुका है अगले महीने प्रधानमंत्री जी के कर कमलों से इसका उद्घाटन होगा खाद कारखाने का वलोकार्पण किया जाएगा किसानों को समय पर खाद मिलेगी और नौजवानों को रोजगार मिलेगा गोरखपुर में आयुष विश्वविद्यालय बन रहा है सैनिक स्कूल बन रहा है जो विकास अब तक बंद था उस विकास का रास्ता भारतीय जनता पार्टी की सरकार ने खोला है जब विकास आगे बढ़ता है तो प्रत्येक नागरिक के जीवन में भी परिवर्तन लाता है आज हर जगह बिजली है फ्री राशन मिल रहा है सरकारे पहले भी थी लेकिन भाइयों बहनों 2014 के बाद बदलते हଏହି ଭାବରେ LNV India | 64 ଦୃଶ୍ୟସଂଖ୍ୟା
