Space economy worth $1.25tn by 2030 | NSR | Global Space Economy | VARINDIA News Hour
Northern Sky Research (NSR) in its Global Space Economy, said in its second Edition report, is projecting that the Global Space Economy will be worth $1.25 trillion (€1.12tn) by 2030. Further NSR is projecting strong revenue potential across all key segments, underpinned by record setting investment and both public and private sector demand for space products and services. With over $1.25 trillion in cumulative revenue projected by 2030, the space industry growth trajectory trends upwards at a 6.25 percent CAG. Satellite & Space Infrastructure is the largest segment today, with burgeoning demand from the Crew & Cargo market as the leading revenue source. Close behind are key infrastructure markets such as Satellite Communications, Earth Observation, Situational Awareness and Science & Technology. Altogether, the Satellite & Space Infrastructure market will generate over $570 billion in revenue by 2030, says NSR. But these traditional revenue generators are changing. NSR says that by decade’s end, the report observes Satellite Communications Services overtaking Infrastructure to become the dominant market in terms of annual revenues.
From segments such as Mobility (aero, maritime, land) to Enterprise Data and Government/Military, the upside for Satellite Communications Services is significant as more/flexible satellites are launched and an increasingly virtual, 5G-enabled and cloud-based ground segment is enabled. At an impressive CAGR of nearly 13 per cent, this segment is a key revenue driver going forward,” notes the report. Then, as the decade rolls on, a third category emerges: “Satellite & Space Applications, also contribute well to global space revenues. Earth Observation Information Products, Data Analytics, Data Downlink and Space Tourism & Travel are all key applications driving long term demand. बीते गुरुवार को IIT कानपुर ने कमाल ही कर दिया। साल 2017 से IIT कानपुर क्लाउड सीडिंग पर काम रही थी। क्लाउड सीडिंग की मदद से कभी भी कहीं भी बारिश करवाई जा सकती है। यह बारिश को कृत्रिम यानी आर्टिफीसियल कहा जाता है। क्लाउड सीडिंग का टेस्ट यानी परीक्षण करने के बाद लंबे समय से इस प्रोजेक्ट पर काम कर रहे IIT कानपुर के हाथ सफलता लगी।

IIT के 3 छात्रों को प्लेसमेंट के दौरान मिला 4-4 करोड़ का सालाना पैकेज
इस साल का IIT प्लेसमेंट 1 दिसंबर से शुरू हुआ है। आईआईटी दिल्ली, बॉम्बे और कानपुर के 3 स्टूडेंट्स को मिला है ये बड़ा पैकेज।
IIT कानपुर के स्टूडेंट को चार करोड़ का पैकेज न्यूयॉर्क की जेन स्ट्रीट ( Jane Street) कंपनी ने दिया है। इस साल IIT मद्रास के 25 स्टूडेंट्स को भी सालाना 1 करोड़ से ज्यादा सैलरी का पैकेज ऑफर किया गया है।
प्लेसमेंट के पहले ही दिन 33 छात्र-छात्राओं को एक करोड़ रुपये से अधिक का पैकेज ऑफर हुआ है।
पिछले साल कैब एग्रीगेटर उबर कंपनी ने सबसे ज्यादा 2.16 करोड़ रुपये का पैकेज ऑफर किया था।
इस साल के मेन रिक्रूटर्स में माइक्रोसॉफ्ट, Graviton, फ्लिपकार्ट, Texas Instruments, बजाज ऑटो, Bain and Company, Goldman Sachs, Qualcomm, Boston Consulting Group, JP Morgan Chase & Co, P&G, Optiver, Morgan Stanley, और McKinsey शामिल हैं।
IIT रुड़की में प्लेसमेंट के पहले दिन कुल 365 छात्रों को नौकरी के प्रस्ताव मिले. इनमें से 6 अंतरराष्ट्रीय ऑफर्स हैं।
IIT मद्रास में प्लेसमेंट के पहले दिन 445 छात्रों को नौकरियां मिली हैं। इनमें से 25 छात्रों को 1 करोड़ से ज्यादा की सालाना तनख्वाह का ऑफर मिला है।
