Jispa to Sarchu | Episode 2 | Dekh Leh | Ladakh Vlog Series

In the second episode of our mini-series, we bring you glimpses of what our journey from #jispa to Sarchu looked like, consisting of the beautiful #sarchupass view, the landscape of Ladakh mountains, and much more in this road trip to #ladakh.

After waking up to the beautiful view of majestic mountains and clear skies in Jispa, we prepared ourselves for the journey ahead. Post breakfast, we began our journey to Sarchu via the iconic #baralachapass , which would be our next stop.

The land of high passes is what they call Ladakh and it was getting obvious by each passing moment that it truly lives up to the name. The highlands, the trails, the mountains that passed by us were a view to behold.

We made a brief pit-stop at Deepak Tal to take a moment to immerse ourselves in the natural beauty that the entire premise was. The serene lake definitely makes you forget all about your problems and makes you want to spend endless moments, just sitting on the riverside.

For lunch, we stopped at a remote Dhaba surrounded by lofty mountains and barren lands.

After driving for a few more hours, we reached our campsite in Sarchu where it’s crucial to spend a night, not just to get the much-needed rest but also to get your body acclimatized to the high altitude and weather conditions.

With Sarchu being our last stop, with its barren mountains and starry sky, we could see what the journey had in store for us and we were eager to embark on it in the next few days.
