Arshad Warsi and Boman Irani are undoubtedly two actors who continue to stand out with their impeccable style and talent. The two recently turned host for Amazone Prime Video's Lol Hasse Toh Phasse where as many as 10 comedian-actors participated as contestants in a bid to outwit each other. In an exclusive chat with Bollywood Bubble, Arshad Warsi and Boman Irani opened up on their camaraderie with each other which dates back to their Munna Bhai days. They also opened up on the fear of getting typecast in Bollywood and what took them to break away from it. Arshad and Boman also shared their views on comedy and its evolution in our country, the relevance of jokes, and misogyny which were a huge part of comedy sketches earlier. Boman Irani Launches Book : The Stardust Affair
Boman Irani was interacting with media at writer Bilal Siddiqi’s new book launch titled ‘The Stardust Affair’ along with Bilal Siddiqi, Hussain Zaidi on Thursday in Mumbai.
When asked Irani, what kind of books he likes to read more, he said, “There are 50000 books which are my favorites. In fact, I like to read autobiographies now. We used to go ‘AH Wheeler’ which used to be a book stall at VT (Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus) Railway Station. In every train journey, I used to buy lot of books and used to read that in train and mostly, that used to be fiction and now suddenly, I think non-fiction seems to be very interesting and I also get to read lot of screenplays as well”
