मुजफ्फरनगर की सिविल लाइन पुलिस ने सोमवार को कोचिंग सैंटरो में पढ़ने वाले बेरोजगार युवाओं को विभिन्न विभागों में सरकारी नौकरी दिलाने के नाम पर ठगी करने वाले गिरोह का भंडाफोड़ किया है। सिविल लाइन पुलिस ने लखनऊ और बाराबंकी के रहने वाले राशिद, रोहित, लक्की पांडे और अंकित वर्मा नाम के चारों ठगों को गिरफ्तार कर जेल भेज दिया है। ठगों के इस गिरोह ने मेरठ, मुजफ्फरनगर, अलीगढ़, आगरा, मैनपुरी, एटा आदि जिलों में अपना नेटवर्क फैला रखा था और काफी लोगों को अपनी ठगी का शिकार बना चुके थे। मुजफ्फरनगर के पुलिस अधीक्षक नगर अर्पित विजयवर्गीय ने प्रेस वार्ता कर जानकारी दी कि सिविल लाइन पुलिस ने ऐसे गिरोह का भंडाफोड़ किया है, जो नव युवकों को फसाकर सरकारी नौकरी लगवाने के नाम पर उनके साथ ठगी किया करते थे, इसमें हमने लखनऊ के तीन लोगों को और एक बाराबंकी का है जिन्हें गिरफ्तार किया है, राशिद नाम का व्यक्ति इस गिरोह का मास्टरमाइंड है, यह गिरोह कोचिंग में पढ़ने वाले छात्रों को नौकरी लगवाने के नाम पर ठगते थे और बाकायदा उनकी नौकरी लगवाने के नाम पर पैसे लेकर उनको ट्रेनिंग के नाम पर कहीं भेजा भी जाता था, और उनको सैलरी के नाम पर कुछ दिया भी जाता था, वहां पर कुछ लोगों को पता चला कि उनके साथ फ्रॉड किया गया है तब वह हमारे पास आए हैं, अभी तक 5-6 लोग हमारे पास आ चुके हैं, अभी हम इनके नेटवर्क की पूरी जानकारी करने में लगे हुए हैं, इनमें दो लोग पोस्टल विभाग में संविदा पर लगे हुए थे, उनका भी इन्होंने सहयोग लिया, अभी तक इन्होंने वादियों से साढ़े 24 लाख रुपए कैश लिया है।।

प्रयागराज की साइबर क्राइम की पुलिस ने सरकारी योजनाओं की फर्जी फ्रेंचाइजी देने के नाम पर लाखों की ठगी करने वाले साइबर ठगों के एक गैंग को गिरफ्तार किया है । पुलिस ने इस गैंग के चार सदस्यों को फिलहाल गिरफ्तार किया है बाकी सदस्यों की तलाश जारी है ।पुलिस के मुताबिक ये साइबर ठग सरकारी योजनाओं का ऋण देने वाली संस्थाओं की वेबसाइट की मिलती जुलती फर्जी वेबसाइट बनाकर उसकी फ्रेंचाइजी देने के नाम पर लाखों ठगते थे । जानकारी यह भी मिली है ये प्राइवेट कंपनियों जैसे मदर डेयरी, बजाज फाइनेंस लिमिटेड , एनफील्ड मोटर साइकिल जैसी कंपनियों की फर्जी फ्रेंचाइजी भी देते थे । पुलिस ने इनके पास से कई लैपटॉप , कूट रचित दस्तावेज और नकदी भी बरामद की है।
