खंडवा - जब जल संकट न था हमारे ही द्वारा जल का दोहन किया गया था हालांकि प्रशासन भी हमसे एक कदम आगे रहा, जिसके कारण उसने भ्रष्ट कंपनी को नर्मदाजल योजना का टेंडर देकर जनता के लिए पेयजल को भ्रष्टाचार की भेंट चढ़ा दिया। उक्त वर्णित विचार तो दर्शाता हैं जैसे मां नर्मदा हमसे रूठ गई हो वहीं अब नर्मदा का जल स्तर भी कम हो गया जहां से हम तक पानी सप्लाई हो रहा था। चलिए अपनी गलती के लिए क्षमा मांगे! मां नर्मदा की आरती कर उन्हें मनाए।

खंडवा का जल संकट अब सियासी लड़ाई में तब्दील होता जा रहा हैं पानी के लिए पूर्व पार्षद का घेराव करने वालों के खिलाफ आज भाजपा जिला अध्यक्ष और कार्यकर्ताओं ने मिलकर शिकायती आवेदन पुलिस को सौपा। भाजपा ने पुलिस से शिकायत कि हैं की पूर्व पार्षद के घर कुछ लोगों और कांग्रेस कार्यकर्ताओ ने जा कर उनसे अपशब्द कहें उन्हें चूड़ियां भेंट की। ऐसे लोगों पर कार्यवाही कर उन्हें सजा दिलाई जाए। पुलिस ने भी कार्यवाही का भरोषा दिलाया हैं। बतादें की एक माह से खंडवा में जल संकट की स्थति बानी हुए हैं जिसे लेकर जनता में आक्रोश हैं।

खंडवा शहर की जल वितरण व्यवस्था को बेहतर करने के लिए एक बार फिर करोड़ों रुपये खर्च करने की तैयारी चल रही है। भारत सरकार के शहरी आवास एवं कार्य मंत्रालय द्वारा वर्ष 2021-22 से वर्ष 2025-26 तक के लिए मध्यप्रदेश के समस्त नगरीय निकायों को शामिल करते हुए जल जीवन मिशन आरंभ किया है। निगमायुक्त श्रीमती सविता प्रधान ने बताया कि मध्यप्रदेश संचालनालय नगरी प्रशासन एवं विकास आयुक्त निकुंज श्रीवास्तव के निर्देशानुसार खंडवा का भी सिटी एक्शन प्लान और सिटी वाटर बैलेंस प्लान तैयार कराए जाने की कार्रवाई की जा रही है। इसके लिए निगम के अधीक्षण यंत्री कैलाश चौधरी को आदेशित कर अधिकृत किया गया है।
