कहते हैं न कि सब उपरवाले की माया है, कहीं धूप, कहीं छाया है। लेकिन ऊपरवाले की बनाई इस सृष्टि में नीचे बैठे इंसानों ने तो कुछ अलग ही माया कर दिखाया है। फ़र्क बस इतना कि धूप-छाँव के साथ नहीं, बल्कि इस धरती के जल के साथ। जी हाँ, और ऐसा हम नहीं, बल्कि अमेरिकी अंतरिक्ष एजेंसी नासा NASA और NOAA यानि नेशनल ओशिएनिक एंड एटमॉस्फियरिक एडमिनिस्ट्रेशन ने हाल ही में एक रीसर्च से खुलासा किया है।

Canada-US में भीषण गर्मी का कहर, पारा 50 डिग्री पहुंचे की वजह से दम तोड़ रहे लोग!
कनाडा और अमेरिका के प्रशांत उत्तर-पश्चिमी क्षेत्र भीषण गर्मी की चपेट में हैं। बताया जा रहा है कि उत्तरी-पश्चिमी अमेरिका और कनाडा में उच्च दबाव का क्षेत्र बना है, जिस वजह से दोनों ही देशों में भीषण गर्मी और लू ने सारे रिकॉर्ड तोड़ दिए हैं। भीषण गर्मी के कारण कई लोग अपनी जान भी गंवा चुके हैं। कनाडा में पिछले 4 दिन में पारा रिकॉर्ड उच्चतम स्तर 49.6 डिग्री सेल्सियस को छू चुका है, जबकि इससे पहले देश में पारा 45 डिग्री सेल्सियस के पार नहीं पहुंचा था। कनाडा के पर्यावरण विभाग ने अलर्ट जारी करते हुए कहा है कि ये खतरनाक गर्मी की लहर इस सप्ताह तक बनी रहेगी। तटीय इलाकों में तापमान थोड़ा कम हुआ है लेकिन जो इलाक़े समुद्र से दूर हैं, वहां तुरंत राहत मिलने के आसार नहीं हैं। इस बीच लोग समुद्र के किनारे, झीलों में और घरों में बने अस्थाई पूल पर नहाकर गर्मी से बच रहे हैं। सड़कों पर भी लोगों के लिए पानी के फव्वारे लगा दिए गए हैं।
