जम्मू-कश्मीर (Jammu-Kashmir) के श्रीनगर (Srinagar) जिले में मंगलवार सुबह झेलम (Jhelum) नदी में एक नाव पलटने से कुछ स्कूली बच्चों सहित कई लोग लापता हो गए। उन्होंने बताया कि गंदबल बटवाड़ा में ङोलम में नाव पलट गई। बचाव दल तैनात कर दिए गए हैं। वहीं, कश्मीर में पिछले दो दिनों से लगातार बारिश हो रही है।

श्रीनगर के छत्ताबल में झेलम नदी में बुजुर्ग महिला की लाश मिलने से सनसनी फैल गई। बुजुर्ग महिला का शव मलिक साहिब इलाके में नदी में तैरता देखकर लोग खौफजदा हो गए और आनन-फानन में पुलिस को सूचना दी गई, जिसके बाद पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची। झेलम नदी से महिला के शव को पुलिस ने लोगों की मदद से निकाल कर उसकी शिनाख्त करने की काफी कोशिश की, लेकिन अब तक बुजुर्ग महिला की कोई पहचान नहीं हो पाई है। पुलिस की अब तक की छानबीन के मुताबिक मृतक महिला की उम्र करीब 60 साल के आसपास है। फिलहाल बुजुर्ग महिला के शव को पोस्टमॉर्टम के लिए अस्पताल में रखवा दिया गया है और सफा कदाल पुलिस स्टेशन में केस दर्ज करके तहकीकात की जा रही है।

अनंतनाग। अनंतनाग की झेलम नदी में एक 10 साल का लड़का डूब गया। श्रीनगर का रहने वाला साबिर अहमद अनंतनाग में अपने ननिहाल आया हुआ था कि दोस्तों के साथ घूमता-घूमता झेलम नदी में पहुंचा गया। इस दौरान वे झेलम नदी में नहाने के लिए उतरा , जिसमे साबिर का पैर फिसल गया और वह नदी में डूब गया। जिसके बाद आर्मी और गोतोखोरों को मौके पर बुलाया गया। गोताखोर और सेना युवक को ढूढ़ने में लगी हुई है, लेकिन उसका शव नहीं मिल पाया है।
