Delhi सरकार की 'घर-घर राशन योजना' पर केंद्र की रोक, CM Kejriwal ने साधा निशाना!
दिल्ली में केजरीवाल सरकार की महत्वाकांक्षी 'घर घर राशन योजना' पर केंद्र सरकार ने रोक लगा दी है। दिल्ली के 72 लाख लोगों को उनके घर पर राशन पहुंचाने के लिए केजरीवाल सरकार ने यह योजना बनाई थी, जो एक हफ्ते बाद लागू होनी थी। सूत्रों का कहना है कि इस योजना पर रोक इसलिए लगाई गई है क्योंकि इसके लिए केंद्र सरकार से मंजूरी नहीं ली गई। इस मामले पर अब दिल्ली सरकार ने आक्रामक रुख अपनाया है। योजना पर रोक लगाए जाने को लेकर मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल ने आज एक प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस की। इस दौरान उन्होंने राशन माफिया का जिक्र किया और कहा कि योजना के लिए केंद्र सरकार से पांच बार मंजूरी ली गई थी, लेकिन फिर भी इसे रोक दिया गया।

The Supreme Court on Wednesday issued notice to the Centre on fresh petitions filed challenging the Citizenship Amendment Act and sought reply in four weeks. Around 144 petitions were filed related to the contentions Citizenship Act, which grants citizenship to Hindus, Sikhs, Jains, Parsis, Buddhists and Christians fleeing religious persecution from Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh and who came to India on or before December 31, 2014.

Free Metro rides for women: Centre says no proposal from Delhi govt yet
Union Housing & Urban Affairs Minister Hardeep Singh Puri in Lok Sabha has denied that Union Government has any proposal for free rides for women in Delhi Metro. Replying to the question, asked by TMC MP Saugata Roy, Puri replied that there is no proposal from Delhi govt on Free Metro rides for women yet. Announcing the proposal earlier this month, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had said that his government will provide subsidy to the three public transporters for providing free rides to women commuters in DTC buses and Delhi Metro.
