    दिल्ली के प्रगति मैदान में आयोजित हुए दिल्ली बुक फेयर में सैंकड़ों प्रकाशकों के साथ साथ पाठकों की भी भारी भीड़ देखी गई। कई बड़ी और नामी स्कूल बुक पब्लिशिंग हाउस के स्टाल्स भी यहाँ देखे गये। दिल्ली प्रेस के विश्व बुक्स भी उन्हीं बड़े नामों में से एक है जो की स्कूल बुक्स की पब्लिशिंग में एक अग्रणी नाम है।
    इनके स्टॉल पर भी स्कूल स्टूडेंट्स , पैरेंट्स और टीचर्स की भीड़ देखी गई। दिल्ली दर्पण टीवी ने यहाँ विश्व बुक के सेल्स हेड से बात चीत कर जानना चाहा की क्या नयापन है उनकी किताबों में जिसकी वजह से स्कूल स्टूडेंट्स और बच्चों के पैरेंट्स भी प्राइवेट पब्लिशर्स की बुक्स ही प्रेफर करें।

    शिक्षा व्यवस्था किसी भी देश का भविष्य निर्धारित करती है , लेकिन जब शिक्षा के लिये निर्धारित पाठ्यक्रम में चलाई जाने वाली किताबों पर सरकारी फरमान थोपने की सरगर्मियाँ जोरों पर हो तो इसका सीधा प्रभाव बच्चों , उनके पैरेंट्स और शिक्षा व्यवस्था से जुड़े हजारों लाखों लोगों पर भी पड़ता है।
    अब सीबीएसई के हाल में जारी किये गये सर्कुलर की ही बात देख लें जिसमें ये कहा जा रहा है की सभी प्राइवेट स्कूलों में NCERT की किताबों को ही अनिवार्य किया जायेगा। इस फैसले से प्राइवेट पब्लिशर्स के साथ साथ स्कूल बुक पब्लिशिंग इंडस्ट्री से जुड़े हजारों लोगों में भी असुरक्षा और दुविधा की स्थिति पैदा कर दी है। जहाँ एक और इस फैसले से प्राइवेट बुक पब्लिशिंग के उद्योग पर बड़ा खतरा मंडरा रहा है वहीं इनसे जुड़े लोगों पर बेरोजगारी का संकट भी पैदा हो गया है।
    हालाँकि अभी तक इस पूरे मुद्दे पर महज कयास का बाजार ही गर्म है , लेकिन बुक पब्लिशिंग एक बड़ी जिम्मेदारी का काम है , और उद्योग से जुड़े लोग बहरहाल संशय की स्थिति में हैं की अगर ये फैसला अचानक से लागू कर दिया जाता है तो उनके द्वारा प्रकाशित की गई पुस्तकों का क्या होगा , और इसलिये वो नये सेशन की किताबें छपवाने पर फैसला नहीं ले पा रहे हैं।
    सरकार के लिए तुगलकी फरमान जारी करना बेशक एक आसान फैसला हो लेकिन प्राइवेट बुक पब्लिशिंग और उनसे जुड़े हजारों - लाखों लोगों का भविष्य क्या होगा इस पर भी चर्चा जरूर होनी चाहिये। दिल्ली दर्पण टीवी अपनी स्पेशल सीरीज में इस मुद्दे से जुड़े तमाम पहलुओं को आपके सामने लाता रहेगा।

    सरकार अब प्राइवेट पब्लिशर्स की किताबों को हटाकर सभी स्कूलों में केवल एनसीआरटी की किताबें ही कम्पलसरी करने जा रही है --सरकार की इस मंशा से देशभर के शिक्षाविद्दों , लेखकों , और प्रकाशकों के साथ साथ अभिभावकों के बीच गहन चिंता और चर्चा बाजार शुरू हो गया है ---इन चर्चाओं और चिंताओं में दिल्ली दर्पण टीवी भी अपने स्पेशल सीरीज के साथ शामिल है ---हमारे कमरे पर देशभर में शिक्षा जगत से जुडी प्रमुख संस्थाएं और शिक्षाविद्द चिंता व्यक्त कर रहे है की एनसीआरटी क्या इस चुनौती को पूरा कर पाएगी .? हर साल स्टूडेंट और अभिभावकों की यही शिकायत रही है की उन्हें एनसीआरटी पर्याप्त मात्रा में किताबों की आपूर्ति करने में असफल रहा है --ऐसे वह सभी स्कूलों में किताबों की आपूर्ति कैसे कर पायेगा .
    एनसीआर के सामने दूसरे सबसे बड़ी चुनौती अच्छे स्तर की पुस्तकों की आपूर्ति करना होगा --शिक्षाविद्द और प्रकाशक मानते है की यह निजी प्रकाशकों की पुस्तकें महंगी जरूर होती है लेकिन कंटेंट और क्वालिटी की लिहाज़ से यह निजी स्कूलों पर स्टूडेंट की पसदं बनी हुयी है --प्राइवेट पब्लिशर्स और शिक्षक मानते है की एनसीआरटी की किताबें 2007 से अब तक अपडेट नहीं हुयी है --ऐसे में सरकार यदि सभी बच्चों पर एनसीआरटी की किताबें है थोपने जा रही है तो यह मनचाही पुस्तकें पढ़ने की आज़ादी का उल्ल्घन है --इसका असर शिक्षा के स्तर पर भी प्रतिकूल पडेगा .
    दिल्ली दर्पण टीवी ने इस विषय पर अभिभावकों और बच्चों की राय भी जानी --सभी ने यह तो माना की एनसीआरटी सस्ती तो होती है लेकिन विषयों को समझने में निजी प्रकाशकों की पुस्तकें ज्यादा सुविधाजनक होती है --इनकी प्रिटिंग क्वलिटी भी बेहद बेहतर होती है .

    शिक्षा का कोई मोल नहीं होता...लक्ष्मी विद्या नहीं खरीद सकती पर विद्या अपने दम पर लक्ष्मी अर्जित कर सकती है....ये बात जगजाहिर है, लेकिन फिर भी सरकार ने महंगी होती भारतीय शिक्षा व्यवस्था पर शिकंजा कसने के लिए... सीबीएसई स्कूलों में प्राइवेट बुक की बजाय एनसीईआरटी बुक लगाने के आदेश दिए हैं....सरकार के इस फैसले से प्राइवेट पब्लिशर्स को बड़ा नुकसान तो होगा ही, लेकिन बच्चों के भविष्य का क्या होगा ये भी सोचने वाली बात है....ये बात सिर्फ टीचर और अभिभावक ही नहीं, खुद स्टूडेंट्स भी जानते हैं कि एनसीईआरटी की किताबों में टॉपिक्स ठीक तरह से अपडेट नहीं किये जाते...सालों से किताबों में एक ही चीज़ छपती आ रही है और तो और जब-तब ये किताबें आउट ऑफ़ स्टॉक ही रहती हैं।
    वहीं प्राख्यात शिक्षा विद् और मल्टीपल इंटेलिजेंस काउंसलर डॉ. राजीव गुप्ता भी सरकार के फैसले से पूर्णूोतय: सहमत नहीं हैं...उनका कहना है कि स्टूडेंट्स के लिए एनसीईआरटी की किताबें ही काफी नहीं हैं....बल्कि उन्हें चीजों को बेहतर ढंग से समझने के लिए प्राइवेट पब्लिकेशन के बुक को अवश्य पढना होगा.
    वहीं स्कूली छात्रों का भी कहना है कि उनके लिए एनसीईआरटी की किताबों की अपेक्षा प्राइवेट प्रकाशकों की किताबें काफी बेहतर हैं....क्योंकि एनसीईआरटी की अपेक्षा प्राइवेट किताबों से समझने में आसानी होती है।
    तो ज़ाहिर सी बात है कि सरकार के इस फैसले से छात्रों का कैरियर भी प्रभावित होगा....जहां एक तरफ़ प्रधानमंत्री जी डिजिटल इंडिया की बात करते हैं, तो ऐसे में हम शिक्षा के मामले में कोई भी समझौता कैसे कर सकते हैं ....ऐसे में देखना यह होगा कि इस मामले को लेकर सरकार क्या रुख अपनाती है।
