Naga Shaurya's film faces backlash from Hijras I Rectv India

Naga Shaurya's upcoming film Narthanasala has landed in a soup. As per the latest reports, a protest has been demonstrated by Hijras at Film Chamber of Commerce in Hyderabad demanding apology from Narthanasala team for insulting them and putting their gender in bad light.

The recently released teaser is the reason for their protest. In the teaser, Shaurya is showcased as a gay who has no feelings towards opposite sex. Hijras are now protesting to stop the film from releasing as it could hurt their sentimentsThe makers of Narthanasala, however, clarified that there is nothing objectionable against Hijras and said that the film is a complete entertainer. Narthanasala is slated for release on August 31st.
