  • મહુવામાં માઈનિંગને અટકાવતા ખેડૂતોના વિરોધ દરમિયાન પોલીસ અને ખેડૂતો વચ્ચે ઘર્ષણ

    ભાવનગરના તલ્લી બાંભોર ગામમાં ખાનગી કંપનીના માઈનિંગને અટકવવા કનુ કલસરિયાની આગેવાનીમાં વિરોધ પ્રદર્શન કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું ત્યારે વિરોધ દરમિયાન પોલીસ અને ખેડૂતો વચ્ચે ઘર્ષણ સર્જાયું હતું. ઉપરાંત પોલીસે 35થી વધુ ટીયરગેસના સેલ પણ છોડ્યા હતા, જેને લઈને ખેડૂતો વધુ વિફર્યા હતા અને ખેડૂતો દ્વારા પોલીસ પર પથ્થરમારો પણ કરવામાં આવ્યો હતો. પોલીસ દ્વારા હળવો લાઠીચાર્જ કરતા અનેક ખેડૂતોને ઈજા પહોંચી હતી.

    આ ઘટનાની વિગતો એવી છે કે, ભાવનગરના તલ્લી બાંભોર ગામે ખાનગી કંપની દ્વારા છેલ્લા કેટલાય સમયથી માઈનિંગ કરવામાં આવી રહ્યું છે. આ માઈનિંગની પ્રવૃત્તિને કારણે આસપાસના ખેતરોને ભારે નુકશાન થઈ રહ્યું છે. આ અંગે અગાઉ અનેકવાર સ્થાનિક ખેડૂતોએ સ્થાનિક વહિવટીતંત્ર સમક્ષ રજૂઆત કરી હતી. પરંતુ, આ મામલે કોઈ નિષ્કર્ષ આવ્યો નહિ. ત્યારે બુધવારે સવારે ભૂતપૂર્વ ધારાસભ્ય કનુ કલસરિયાની આગેવાનીમાં ખેડૂતોએ હલ્લાબોલ કરીને ભારે હંગામો મચાવ્યો હતો. અગાઉથી જ આ કાર્યક્રમની જાહેરાત કરાઈ હોવાના કારણે પોલીસ વિભાગે પણ આ વિસ્તારમાં લોખંડી બંદોબસ્ત ગોઠવી દીધો હતો. પરંતુ, ચુસ્ત બંદોબસ્ત વચ્ચે પણ સ્થાનિક ખેડૂતો આવી પહોંચ્યા હતા અને તેમને રોકવાનો પોલીસે પ્રયાસ કરતા પોલીસ અને ખેડૂતો વચ્ચે ઘર્ષણ સર્જાયું હતું.

    આ ઘર્ષણને લઈને વાતાવરણમાં તંગદીલી ફેલાઈ ગઈ હતી. ખેડૂતોએ આક્ષેપ કર્યો છે કે, શાંતિપૂર્ણ રીતે વિરોધ પ્રદર્શન કરી રહેલા ખેડૂતો પર પોલીસે અમાનુષી વર્તન કર્યું છે અને તેના કારણે અનેક ખેડૂતો ઈજાગ્રસ્ત થયા છે. પોલીસના આ વર્તન સામે ખેડૂતો દ્વારા હાલમાં ઉગ્ર વિરોધ ચાલી રહ્યો છે. દરમિયાનમાં મળતી માહિતી પ્રમાણે ભાવનગરમાં ખેડૂતો પર થયેલા લાઠીચાર્જ અંગે મુખ્યપ્રધાન વિજય રૂપાણીએ પણ ગંભીર નોંધ લઈને આ મામલે તાત્કાલિક પગલા ભરવાના આદેશ કર્યાં છે. બીજી બાજુ કોંગ્રેસે ખેડૂતો પર કરાયેલા લાઠીચાર્જનો વિરોધ વ્યક્ત કરી રાજ્ય સરકાર પર પ્રહાર કરતા જણાવ્યું છે કે, વર્તમાન રાજ્ય સરકાર ખેડૂત વિરોધી છે અને તેના ઈશારે જ ખેડૂતો પર અત્યાચાર કરવામાં આવી રહ્યો છે. આ મામલે કોંગ્રેસ આગામી દિવસોમાં ઉગ્ર આંદોલન કરશે.

    અત્રે નોંધનીય છે કે, ભૂતકાળમાં પણ કનુ કલસરિયા દ્વારા ખાનગી સિમેન્ટ કંપનીને જમીન આપી દેવાના સરકારના નિર્ણય સામે આંદોલન કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું, ત્યારે હવે ફરી એકવાર કલસરિયાએ રાજ્ય સરકાર સામે માઈનિંગ કરી રહેલી ખાનગી કંપનીનો

    ભાવનગર શહેરના તખ્તેશ્વર પ્લોટ વિસ્તારમાં આવેલ ડૉ. માલતીબહેનના ઘરે તેમના ચોકીદારની હત્યા કરીને કાર, તિજોરી સહિતનો મુદ્દામાલ લઈને કેટલાક ઈસમો ફરાર થઈ ગયાની ઘટના બાદ પોલીસ દ્વારા આ ગુના અંગે સઘન તપાસ આરંભતા આ ગુનામાં સંડોવાયેલા એક બાળ આરોપી સહિત બે ઈસમોને ઝડપી લઈ તેમની પાસેથી લાખોનો મુદ્દામાલ કબજે કરવામાં આવ્યો છે.

    ગત તા.23 નવેમ્બરના રોજ ભાવનગર શહેરના તખતેશ્વર પ્લોટ વિસ્તારમાં રહેતા જાણીતા તબીબ ડૉ. માલતીબહેન મહેતાના ઘરમાં ચોરીના ઈરાદે કેટલા ઈસમોએ ઘૂસી તેમના ઘરમાં વર્ષોથી કામ કરતા વિનુભાઈ ગોરધનભાઈ પરમારના હાથપગ બાંધી તેમની હત્યા નીપજાવી અને ઘરમાં રહેલી તિજોરી, રોકડ રકમ તેમજ કમ્પાઉન્ડમાં પાર્ક કરેલી કાર સહિતની લૂંટ કરી ફરાર થઈ ગયા હતા.

    આ બનાવની તપાસ દરમિયાન એક આરોપીની ધરપકડ કર્યા બાદ ભાવનગર LCBને મળેલ બાતમીના આધારે હિમાલય મોલ તરફના રસ્તા પરથી વિપુલ વાસુરભાઈ ભોળકવા અને એન્ય એક સગીર ઈસમને ઝડપી લઇ તેની પાસે રહેલ થેલી તપાસતા તેમાં સોના ચાંદીના દાગીના સહિતનો મુદ્દામાલ હોઈ જે પોલીસે કબજે કરી બંનેની ધરપકડ કરી પૂછપરછ કરતાં આ મુદ્દામાલ ડૉ.માલતીબહેનના ઘરે હત્યા કરીને લૂંટી હોવાનું કબૂલ્યું હતું. જ્યારે પોલીસે આરોપીઓ પાસેથી રૂ. 25,81,450ની કિંમતનો મુદ્દામાલ કબજે કર્યો અને વધુ તપાસ માટે બંને આરોપીઓને નિલમબાગ પોલીસને સોપી દેવામાં આવ્યા.

    આ આરોપીઓને ડો.માલતીબહેને એક બહુ મોટી મિલકત વેચી છે અને તેમની પાસે મોટી રકમ ઘરમાં રહેલી છે જેની માહિતી મળી હતી. તેમજ ડૉ.માલતીબહેન તેમના પરિવાર સાથે હરિદ્વાર ગયા હોવાની બાતમીને આધારે તેમણે આ ગુનાને અંજામ આપ્યો હતો. જ્યારે હજુ કેટલાક આરોપીઓ પોલીસ સકંજાની બહાર છે અને હજુ 55 ટકા જ મુદ્દામાલ રિકવર થયો છે ત્યારે પોલીસે આ ગુના અંગે વધુ તપાસ કરી રહી છે.

    Bhumi Pednekar recently appeared in the comedy Thank You For Coming and the film invited some extreme reactions from the viewers. While some praised the film for its bold concept, some shamed it for that. In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble host Akash Bhatnagar, Bhumi spoke about the latter group of people and slammed them for the shaming. She expressed her disappointment towards people who didn’t criticise the film but its intent. The actress discussed the prevalent gender bias and how people never took offence when she was a part of such stories told from a male perspective. She pointed out how Pankaj Tripathi and Akshay Kumar starrer OMG 2 was supported by the same people who shamed her film, when somewhere they dealt with the same subject. Bhumi revealed if not getting any support from women within the industry disappointed her. She highlighted the hypocrisy of the situation that people accept objectification of women but have a problem with them talking about their sexuality. You can watch the entire conversation here.
